My Ogio Bag Fit My Callaways Perfectly
June 20th, 2010 |Originally, as I started any golf bag would do. The main reason being I was starting out and had a big mix of cheap clubs that I used to learn, so needed something quick and cheap. As my game improved, I started to collect more newer clubs that were worth showing off to fellow golfers. I needed a new bag that would be able to comfortably fit everything while also be easy on me as I carried it on the golf course. I looked through the options and found two options I liked. The first one was the Ogio golf bags, and the second were the Callaway Golf Bags..
The clubs you would find in my old bag were mainly Callaway clubs, including the Callaway Big Bertha Driver. The reason for so many of this brand is because it is available at the local Golf town and is highly recommended from online sources that I’ve been reading. I did have a mix of others from Ping, Taylormade and a few from Nike. I also kept my putter from Wilson, as I didn’t think a better putter was needed. So my requirement was fit these plus have some compartments my cell phone and keys.
A lot of different styles were found in the ogio bags I looked at, including one with a nice eight piece divider within it. As I have a mix of hybrid golf clubs and regular clubs, this would be an easy way to seperate them for easy identification. Callaway also offered many options, but I liked the color choice and weight of the Ogio brand. The colors I found were more plain colors like red and black to something more unique with a plaid mix. After my purchase, I tried the bag out for comfort and fitment. All the clubs went in with ease and did not have a cluttered feeling. It also felt great carrying it on the course. Organization of my clubs was easy and it allowed me to concentrate my efforts on the actual golf play. I was able to find the bag i liked, even though many others probably would have been ok too. Weight was a concern for me, but it may not be for those who are always driving a cart around. In the case that I start driving around in a cart, I can always upgrade to a sturdier bag if needed.
