Golf Strength Training Introduction
The sport of golf requires some key attributes, some of them are natural and some of them you will need to work on. This is where your fitness is very crucial. I’m guessing you have an excellent handicap and I know for a fact you are wanting an edge to increase your swing speed.
Here I am going to give you something very specific into golf fitness training hopefully for you to work on.

The benefits of Golf fitness Training are having an increased swing speed and also saving yourself from
potentially career threatening injuries. Although Strength training can bulk up your muscles and cause limited movement in your swing but this is where flexibility comes in.
The most important and specific area I’m going to cover in Golf Strength Training is your body core. This is your midsection that I’m talking about. Usually people tend to focus on bulking up their guns and think they have the power. But are never aware that having a strong core creates the power to execute absolute power.
Let me share with you some tips and strategies to help you create a strong, flexible, and toned body core to help you power out your swing and have your fellow golfer’s jaw dropping at your distance.
First thing is first, check your diet, and check what you are eating. It is a waste of time working out if you eat fast-food on a regular basis. You will not get results. Trust me on this one. They go hand in hand.
Find foods that have a high source of protein and are low in fat eg. boiled eggs,Lean red meat, fish etc. These foods contain pure sources of protein to help repair muscle tissue after a work out. Recovery is really important. Also drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated and your muscles replenished.
I am assuming now that you have your diet sorted, now I highly recommend a swiss ball for ab and back exercises. If you feel as though you are unsure of how to use a swiss ball please seek an expert or personal trainer for advice. There are many ab workout machines out there but I highly recommend a swiss ball. A swiss ball can be used to build on other muscle groups aswel to create even more power and a more flexible rotation in your swing.
Please take this awareness and apply it to your game, you are an assett to your own golfing ability which can turn your game around and become a great player, it is up to you
