Well if something does happen to your camera when you are away there isn’t too much you can do about it unless you have camera insurance and even so there proposes a problem, you are not likely to be able to actually get a replacement whilst you are on holiday.

Just go and get a cheap one for now and then when you get back the money can be given to you for the camera that was broken or stolen from you as the company will not replace any bought items that do not have insurance. Most companies will not give you the money back from the camera that you would have bought out there but it can really help when it comes to taking pictures on your holiday.

There are many places out there that will simply not cover you if you are on vacation so perhaps it could be a very wise decision to dive into that insurance policy to have a little look.

If you a fan of using the Sat Nav when you are away then you actually get world wide cover satnav insurance that will cover you if the device breaks when you are driving down the unknown streets of a foreign country.

Again this isn’t much good to you until you reach back home it can come in useful as at least you will not have to pay out for a brand new, expensive one.

Gadget insurance is a general term for both of these and others and can actually be purchased to cover up to five different items. It may actually be worth doing this as it could save you money in the long run.
